The first major update to 77 Oleander Avenue is coming in June!

I've been working steadily on the game since its launch at the end of July last year adding two new core routes, an unlockable route that opens after you complete the other three routes of the game, and multiple new endings. There's also new content, new features, new music, and a revamped UI as well. In total, this makes the game about ten times bigger than before and I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's reactions as they play.

When will the 2.0 update launch?

While I don't want to commit to a specific launch date yet, the 2.0 update will go live in June so please look forward to it! You can also find more day to day updates on my twitter where I'll begin posting previews, songs, and other information.

New Features and Routes

If you're curious about what's coming in 2.0, here's a preview of some of the new content and improvements:

• Two new exploration routes:  Sift through the clutter and filth of a disused kitchen, compare the notes of previous investigators to uncover an eerie pattern, and find your way out of a walled garden where Tabby's sense of reality begins to break down. You can also travel upstairs, search abandoned bedrooms and trace footprints in the dust as you search for any signs of life, along with evidence of a possible murder.
• Expanded Basement route: The Basement Route has been expanded with more interactions, more exploration, and additional dialogue between Tabby and Evie not present in the 1.0 version!
• Additional Final Route: When you start the game after completing the other three routes, you'll begin the final route in which your own beliefs, conclusions, and decisions about the haunting of 77 Oleander will determine the path you take.
• Multiple endings and hidden scenes to unlock: During the final route, you'll be able to reach one of three substantially different canonical endings alongside many other bad ends that you can unlock along the way. On top of this, multiple bonus scenes will unlock based on the theories, beliefs, and suspicions you voice as you play the final route.
• Over a dozen new original music tracks!
• Improved UI including a more detailed log
• Much more!

1.0 Version availability and Pricing

Because of the scale of additional content and the amount of work I've put into the game, the price will increase from pwyw to a $5 minimum when the 2.0 update goes live. You will still be able to download the current version of 77 Oleander for free, though, as once the 2.0 update is up the current 1.0 version will become a demo for the full game.
